The
Auditorium is a large spacious room with a built in wood
dance floor, stage area and an adjoining kitchen with microwave,
stove/oven and a refrigerator for your use. This room will
accommodate up to 150 guest.

The Senior Card Room is a large room with an attached
kitchen which includes stove, microwave and refrigerator. This

Liquor Liability Insurance for serving alcoholic beverages
A fee for Liquor
Liability Insurance will be charged for any renter who wishes to
serve alcohol at their event. Liquor Liability Insurance is a
policy to protect the person or persons renting the facility as
well as the Rolling Meadows Park District from any alcohol
related lawsuits brought on by guests of said renter.
The Rolling Meadows Park District
requires all users of the District’s Parks and Facilities to
obtain Special Event Host Liquor Liability insurance in the
amount of $1,000,000. This insurance will only be required if
alcohol is being served. All groups who will be hosting a
picnic, indoor rental, or any event in which alcohol will be
served are required to purchase this insurance and name the
Rolling Meadows Park District as an additional insured. If you
are charging an admission to your event, or if you are charging
a fee for drinks, you must also secure Statutory Liquor
insurance. If you wish to serve alcohol, listed below are some
options that are available for you to secure the proper
insurance.
Proof of insurance must be
provided to the Park District at least seven (7) days before
your event.
Home Owners Insurance:
Some insurance companies will provide
a one day Special Event Liquor Liability rider to your Home
Owners policy. The Park District must be named as an additional
insured. Contact your local agent for information.
Caterers
Insurance:
If you are
using an outside caterer for your event, they will need to
provide the park district with a certificate of insurance naming
the park district as additional insured. Check with them to see
if they carry host or statutory liquor.
Market Access:
The Rolling Meadows Park District can
provide the required coverage through Market Access. You will
be the named insured and the Rolling Meadows Park District must
be listed as an additional insured.
Option One-
If a renter will have 1-100 guests and will be serving, not
selling alcoholic beverages (beer, wine, champagne, hard liquor,
etc.), the fee is $170.
Option Two-
If a renter will have 101 or more guests (depending upon the
size of the facility or park requested) and will be serving, not
selling alcoholic beverages (beer, wine, champagne, hard liquor,
etc.), the fee is $190.
Option Three- Renters have the
option of getting a special event endorsement on their
homeowners and get a copy of the certificate of insurance with
additional insured sent to us.
Option Four-
If a renter will have 1-100 guests and will be selling alcoholic
beverages (beer, wine, champagne, hard liquor, etc.), the fee is
$330. Renter must also show proof of a city of Rolling Meadows
liquor license as well as a state of Illinois liquor license.
Option Five-
If a renter will have 101 or more (depending upon the size of
the facility or park requested guests) and will be selling
alcoholic beverages (beer, wine, champagne, hard liquor, etc.),
the fee is $400. Renter must also show proof of a city of
Rolling Meadows liquor license as well as a state of Illinois
liquor license.
All Options will be reviewed by the Rolling Meadows Park
District and are subject to their approval.
All
Liquor Liability Insurance requests need to be reviewed and
approved by the Rolling Meadows Park District Board of
Commissioners. A letter is sent to the renter when alcohol
service has been approved.
Rentals where alcohol is served with over 100 attendees will
require a security guard on site, 120 to 150 attendees require
two (2) security guards. The contract holder is required to pay
the fee to be determined by security service.
Rental Deposit & Security/Damage Deposit
50%
of the total rental fee is required to hold your reservation.
The balance is due one week prior to your event.
A
security/damage deposit of $1,000.00 is required for each
rental.
Rentals with over 100 attendees, serving alcohol and requiring
security guards will require a security/damage of $1,000.00.
This can be done with a credit card (Visa or MasterCard). We
only charge your account if there is any damage or excessive
clean up. You would then be notified in writing.
General Information
The
rentals of these facilities include the use of tables and
chairs, kitchen areas in the Senior Card Room and the
Auditorium. A Building Supervisor is on duty for your entire
event.
All
set up and take down of Park District equipment and major
cleaning is done by the Park District. Some decorations are
allowed but must be approved prior to event.
You
are allowed to bring in your own food and beverages. If you are
planning on serving alcohol, Dram Shop Insurance is required.
