We invite you and your family to experience the fun and excitement of the summer at the Nelson Sports Complex Pool and Plum Grove Pool.
Nelson Sports Complex Pool (NSC)
The Nelson Sports Complex Pool (NSC) features include the New Splash Pad, lap pool, diving well with 2 diving boards, 2 water slides, baby pool, adult area & concession stand.

Plum Grove Pool (PGP)
Want the comfort of a small community pool feel? Then Plum Grove Pool is a great option. This pool features a 25 meter lap pool with diving well, and a baby pool. There’s also great space on the terrace to entertain and socialize with your family and friends. Pool Hours: Saturdays 1pm-8pm and Sundays 1pm-7pm.

Pool Closings
The pool will be closed for public swimming if the air temperature is under 68 degrees as recorded at Rolling Meadows on www.weather.com, or at the manager’s discretion based on inclement weather, low attendance, or unusual circumstances. Both pool locations have the Thor Guard Lightning Prediction System. For more information on Thor Guard, click here.
Learn to Swim (Swim Lessons)
Group swim lessons are offered at the Nelson Sports Complex pool during the summer season. We offer levels 1 – 6. Also available is Tot classes and Parent/Tot classes. Private and Semi-Private lessons are offered at both pool locations.
RM Rapids Swim Team
This program focuses on the self improvement and skill development of the individual swimmer, while 
building a strong competitive team. Children ages 5-18 who are able to swim 25 yards of front crawl using rhythmic breathing, are welcome to join. Practices will be offered at both pools. Our swim team is a recreational and competitive swim program that features five age groups, 8 & under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14 and 15 & over. League meets take place on Wednesday nights. Transportation will not be provided to the meets. This program is designed to help participants improve swimming skills and techniques within a format similar to more intense year-long programs.
Aquatic Staff
All lifeguards at both facilities are Ellis & Associates trained and certified. Ellis & Associates is a leader in the industry of lifeguard training. Guards continue their training by participating in at least 4 hours of in-service each month during the season. Ellis conducts unannounced audits on our lifeguards 3 times during the summer to assess the quality of our program and give feedback to our management staff.
