We invite you and your family to experience the fun and excitement of the summer at the Nelson Sports Complex Pool and Plum Grove Pool.
Nelson Sports Complex Pool (NSC)
The Nelson Sports Complex Pool (NSC) features include Olympic-sized lap pool, diving well with 2 diving boards, 2 water slides, baby pool, adult area & concession stand. NSC pool will open on Saturday, June 12 and close after the evening shift on Sunday, August 22. Pass holders will be able to use their passes at Plum Grove Pool after August 22. Plum Grove Pool (PGP)
Want the comfort of a small community pool feel? Then Plum Grove Pool is a great option. This pool features a 25 meter lap pool with diving well, and a baby pool. There’s also great space on the terrace to entertain and socialize with your family and friends. PG pool will open on Saturday, June 5 and close after the day shift on September 6.

Pool Closings
The pool will be closed for public swimming if the air temperature is under 68 degrees as recorded at Rolling Meadows on www.weather.com, or at the manager’s discretion based on inclement weather, low attendance, or unusual circumstances.
Learn to Swim (Swim Lessons)
Group swim lessons are offered at the Nelson Sports Complex pool during the summer season. We offer levels 1 – 4 and Challenge/Pre-team, which is similar to levels 5 & 6. Private and Semi-Private lessons are offered at Plum Grove Pool. Our Summer Catalog has been updated with new Learn to Swim information, click here.
Swim Teams (Congratulations on winning Conference!)
The Racing Rays at the Nelson Sports Complex Pool and the Porpoises at the Plum Grove Pool merged this season as one team. After being 3-0 during the dual meets our swim team won the conference meet at Morton Grove on July 28! Congratulations to all of our swimmers!
Aquatic Staff
All lifeguards at both facilities are Ellis & Associates trained and certified. Ellis & Associates is a leader in the industry of lifeguard training. Guards continue their training by participating in at least 4 hours of in-service each month during the season. Ellis conducts unannounced audits on our lifeguards 3 times during the summer to assess the quality of our program and give feedback to our management staff.
