Summer Day Camps and School Break Campsleaf-decoration

Day Camp FunSummer Day Camps (Preschool - 9th Grade)

Along with traditional camp activities like sports, games, music, drama, art projects, crafts and swimming campers will be working on community service projects and activities to help youth develop team building and leadership skills.  They will learn a new way of looking at themselves and the world in which they live.  Each camp will offer participants field trip opportunities and special events throughout the summer.

For your convenience we offer a variety of camp add-on options like Rise & Shine/Extended Stay, Hot lunch and Day Camp Swim Lessons.

Look what we did at Summer Camp in 2012!

Our camps strive to give youth the opportunity to be of service to their community. This summer we participated in a variety of service projects and fundraisers for local and national charities. Throughout the summer we collected pop tabs to donate to the Ronald McDonald House. RMHC Upper Midwest raises approximately $30,000 a year through their pop tab program. For our food drive, campers were able to shop at Jewel with money they earned at home doing chores or work around the house. Food was donated to the Palatine Food Pantry.  We also made cards for local nursing homes and ‘I Spy Bottles’ for children at St. Alexis and Lutheran General Hospitals. Our biggest fundraiser of the summer was our Penny War fundraiser. We were able to donate over $700 for Stand For the Silent, an organization that brings education and awareness about bullying to children and adults around the world.
