GENERAL RULES

[1] All functions conducted in Rolling Meadows Park District parks must be held in accordance with district ordinances, policies and rules.

[2] Observe closing Hours.

[3]  Alcoholic beverages are allowed ONLY with the approval of the Park Board Commissioners.  (Alcohol permitted in cans or unbreakable containers only.)  Liquor Liability Insurance is required.  This insurance policy may be purchased through the park district or through your own agent.  Proof of purchase is required before the event.

[4] Vehicles are restricted to designated parking lots and are not allowed on grassy areas, unless permission has been given by the park district.  Police will ticket vehicles parked on grassy areas not displaying an authorized parking permit.

[5] Loud or boisterous language or behavior is not permitted.

[6] A picnic permit does not mean the park is closed to the general public; courtesy to other groups is expected.  Permits give exclusive rights to tables and pavilions.

[7] Area must be cleaned up after picnic.

[8] Fires are not permitted without permission from the Park Board of Commissioners as well as a special use permit from the Rolling Meadows Fire Department.  Grilling is always permitted in acceptable containers.

[9] Tent or canopy use requires permission from the Park Board of Commissioners as well as a special use permit from the City Of Rolling Meadows Building and Zoning Department on tents larger than 20’X20’ or for more than 4 days use in parks.

[10] Special permission needed for bands and DJ’s in any parks.
