Family Flashlight Walk

Kick off November with a brisk evening walk through Kimball Hill Park from 5:30-7pm! Bring your flashlights and stop for a craft, glow stick fun and autumn activities along the way. To usher in the season of Thanksgiving, we will be collecting non-perishable goods for local families in need at the start of the walk. 

Items most needed by local food pantries include: 

• Rice
• Oatmeal
• Pasta
• Pasta sauce
• Ramen noodles
• Dried and canned beans
• Peanut butter
• Cereal
• Dried fruits and vegetables
• Canned fish and poultry
• Nuts and seeds
• Pre-packaged children’s snacks
• Canned vegetables and fruits (less popular, but still useful)
• Condiments i.e. ketchup, mustard, BBQ sauce, relish
