Renegades House Hockey League
This is a recreational program that allows all skaters the opportunity to play hockey. The program includes approximately 45 hours of ice time (evaluations, practices, games and playoffs), team jersey, socks, Renegades winter hat, game officials, trophies, team picture, insurance, U.S.A. Hockey membership, year-end party.
The Renegade program is directed by Tony Kolozsy, RMPD Youth Hockey Director. Tony will concentrate onthe development of both the coaches and players in the Renegade organization. The mites will play in-house games only, while squirt through midgets will play in the Northwest Hockey League.
To help insure the health and safety of young athletes, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) developed the "Heads Up: Concussion in Youth Sports" initiative to offer information about concussions to coaches, parents and athletes involved in youth sports. The Heads Up initiative provides important information on preventing, recognizing and responding to a concussion. Rolling Meadows Park District encourages all coaches, parents and athletes to be redirected to the CDC's "Heads Up: Concussion in Youth Sports" at this link: http://www.cdc.gov/concussion/HeadsUp/youth.html
