Merit Badges
All Merit Badge classes are for ages 11-18. The purpose of the merit badge program is to allow Scouts to examine subjects to determine if they would like to further pursue them as a career or vocation. Class topics range from Pets and Plant Science to Bird Study, Fish and Wildlife Management, Soil and Water Conservation, Citizenship and much more! You do not need to be a boy scout to participate. All classes require full participation and involvement. The Park District will provide Blue Cards. Class descriptions, requirements and materials that need to be completed before the beginning of each workshop will be provided when available.
If you have any questions about our Merit Badge classes, contact Dominic Calderisi at dcalderisi@rmparks.org.
