Say So Long to Summer at Rolling Meadows Park District’s Back to School Bash

Spent an evening savoring the last days of summer with Rolling Meadows Park District. 

Set for 6 to 8pm Wednesday, August 12, at Florey Park, 3300 Campbell Street, Back to School Bash is a free event featuring live music, face painting, inflatables, a visit from the Kona Ice truck, and a variety of outdoor games and activities. 

Sponsors include PediaTrust in Schaumburg, Orthodontic Experts, Village Bank & Trust, a Wintrust Community Bank and Young Engineers in Palatine. 
Back to School Bash is an ideal way to enjoy the end of summer and make great memories, said Sydney Szukala, Recreation Supervisor for special Events and Community Engagement.

“As the summer season winds down and kids start heading back to their school routines, we wanted to give the community a fun weeknight celebration,” Szukala said. “This is a great way for families to connect and unwind as we gear up for fall.”
