Give Summer the Perfect Sendoff at Back to School Bash

Before the hustle and bustle of school routines and full calendars return, spend an evening savoring summer at Florey Park, 3300 Campbell Street.

Set for 6 to 8pm Wednesday, August 13, Back to School Bash is a free event featuring live music, an interactive bubble show with Glowby the Bubbler, face painting, a bounce house, a visit from that the Kona Ice truck, and a variety of outdoor games and activities.

Presented by Duly Health and Care in Schaumburg, Back to School Bash is an ideal way to enjoy the end of summer and make great memories, said Sydney Szukala, recreation supervisor for special events and community engagement.

“Summer is such a wonderful season, and it always feels like it goes too fast,” Szukala said. “Back to School Bash gives us an opportunity to celebrate this season with the community as we gear up for all the fun and adventures that await in the fall. This is an evening families won’t want to miss.”
