Let the Dogs Out at Bark in the Park

Wednesday, September 6, 2023

Dogs and their owners are invited to a morning of outdoor playtime at Rolling Meadows Park District’s Varsity Field.

Presented by Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, Bark in the Park is set for Saturday, September 9 from 10-11:30am. The event features an agility course, ball pit, doggie pool, “Starbarks” Puppuccino bar, themed photo opportunities. Additional sponsors include Golf Rose Animal Services in Schaumburg.

“Bark in the Park is so much fun,” said Kailey Schwartzhoff, Recreation Supervisor for Special Events. “We love seeing all the different dogs and their owners. This year we even have a Barbie-themed photo area so it should be a great time!”

While Bark in the Park is a free, drop-in event, attendees are encouraged to a new/unopened item or monetary donation for local shelters. Items can include toys, treats, food, beds or blankets. In addition to Bark in the Park, Rolling Meadows Park District is hosting a second-dog related event this fall as part of the Go Meadows walk series. Sponsored by Golf Rose Animal Services, Fetch Meadows is set for 5:30-7pm Thursday, September 21, at Kimball Hill Park.
