Rolling Meadows Park District Seeking Community Feedback Through a Needs Assessment Survey

Thursday, February 5, 2026

Rolling Meadows Park District is inviting the community to share feedback to help shape the future of parks, facilities and recreation programming.

Available through Sunday, March 1, the Rolling Meadows Park District Needs Assessment survey seeks resident input on the conditions of parks, facilities and preferred activities and programs.

“As we undergo improvements and upgrades at Nelson Sports Complex and look to make updates at our other facilities and parks, this survey will be an important tool to gauge the community’s interest, while helping guide our areas of focus,” said Executive Director Nick Troy. “With the completion of new additions to Community Center Park, including the popular Ninja Warrior Course and Fitness Court, we want to continue that momentum in 2026 by continuing to seek recreation offerings that embody our Vision of providing exceptional opportunities to Play, Learn and Grow.”

Among updates planned at Nelson Sports Complex in 2026 are new flooring, fresh paint in all areas, an improved concession area, updated Fitness Center, and refreshed exterior features. The District is also looking at potential improvements to South Salk Park, and new recreation opportunities are planned at West Meadows Ice Arena.
