Take the first step in your child’s early education with Rolling Meadows Park District Preschool.
Set for Saturday, February 7 from 9-11am, Rolling Meadows Park District’s Preschool Open House takes place at the Community Center, 3705 Pheasant Drive. Families can tour classrooms, meet teachers and learn more about the district’s preschool and pre-k programs.
Rolling Meadows Park District Preschool engages students with a hands-on curriculum and individualized attention in a nurturing environment. Children learn through play, creativity and connections with others. The 3-year-old program focuses on preschool adjustment, development of communication skills, cooperation with other children and adults, large and small muscle development and other important milestones. The 4-year-old program builds on skills learned in 3-year-old classes and prepares students for kindergarten through an introduction to phonics and other topics.
Parents also have the option to extend their child’s day through Afternoon Specialty classes that include STEAM, cooking, athletics, science, art and academic enrichment. Families with younger children can prepare for their preschool journey with Road to Preschool step-up classes starting at ages 1-2 and ending at ages 3-4.
“Rolling Meadows Park District Preschool provides a warm, engaging environment for a child’s first learning experience,” said Emmy Butler, Early Childhood Coordinator. “Through our play-based learning approach, children build a strong educational foundation, gain confidence and develop a love of learning that helps them thrive.”
